Many thanks to Mary, Maria, Jean, Marcia and Nina who wrote to me on Monday to tell me that the instructions for this exercise were wrong. I’ve amended the rubric along the lines they suggested: conjugate the verb, use the subjunctive if necessary.
And so to today, and to our new Italian easy-reader e-book, ‘L’appuntamento‘.
Stefano and Chiara have known each other since they were children but, as they live in different places, have to make arrangements if they want to meet. Today they’ve agreed to see each other. Stefano has something important he wants to ask Chiara…
The level is A1 / Elementary, so it’s suitable for almost everyone.
Reading and listening to something at this level would be an enjoyable challenge for those of you just beginning with Italian, while being fantastic practice for everyone else.
And as usual, you can get the first chapter FREE (.pdf), to try before you buy.
Note that the free sample chapter (.pdf) also contains a link so you can listen to the WHOLE STORY online, if you choose too.
That’s also free.
Click here (.pdf) to read and listen to Chapter 1 of ‘L’appuntamento’.
Liked that?
You can get the full version of ‘L’appuntamento‘, all eight chapters, this week at 25% off the usual price, just €7.49 instead of €9.99.
It’s a .pdf file, which can be read on more or less any device (smartphone, tablet, computer…) or printed to study in the old-fashioned way.
And as you saw in the sample chapter, there’s a link to the audio, which is available online to listen to as often as you wish. (Naturally, that’s easier if you have the full text to support you…)
Click here to purchase your copy of ‘L’appuntamento‘ and get studying!
I send e-books by e-mail, always within 24 hours of your order. If you don’t see it in your in-box, check the spam folder first, then drop me a line…
That’s it for today. On Friday we’ll get back to sorting out the ‘bits and pieces’ pile.
A presto!
