‘La grammatica ascoltata’ – Italian present tense irregular verbs

September 19, 2014 by Daniel

Welcome to new OnlineItalianClub.com members, and ‘ciao’ to our regulars!

Today we publish the third in our new series ‘La grammatica ascoltata’ (‘Grammar, listened to’).

The topic is Italian present tense irregular verbs, one of the major hurdles that we all have to leap when first getting to grips with the language.

Listen to / read the new text here.

Or catch up on the whole series on our A1-beginner page.

The next in the series will be out on Monday.

Buon fine settimana!

P.S.

Can’t get enough Italian?

Check our the e-books in our online shop. They now total thirteen, spreading over two pages, which can get a bit confusing…

  • page one is mostly simplified audio books (great for improving your Italian). Plus the A1 ‘Italian Workout’.
  • page two has the A2, B1, B2 and C1/C2 levels of ‘Italian Workout’, and Lucia’s phrasebook

There are free sample chapters for you to download for each e-book, so you can check out the level etc. Just click on the book cover image and read the blurb to find the sample chapter download link.

But wait… Buying an e-book online, isn’t that risky?

Not with our full-money-back guarantee!

So you’ve purchased an OnlineItalianClub.com e-book but aren’t completely satisfied?

No problem. Just e-mail me and I’ll promptly refund your payment.

No catches, no questions asked.

You have 13 volumes to choose from.

But no risk.

So, what are you waiting for?

    Hi Daniel
I will still add my notes, they maybe helpful to some, unless you feel I am confusing the issue.notes
DICTIONARY – rispariarsi – relative verb – to save
    GUESS -capricio tantrum (think capricious)
“per questo” – “for this reason”
“there” can be “li” “la” or “ci”
FALSE FRIEND “parenti ” means “relatives” the Italian for “parents” is “genitori”
“non puo fare ” nothing can be done”
“uscire di casa” NOT “uscire da casa”
