Buondì.
First, many thanks to those of you who took time to leave feedback on Monday’s experimental new material ‘Il cane‘.
The comments are at the bottom of Monday’s article.
Read what was written by clicking that link and scrolling down.
Note that it’s possible to comment on what other people have written. Look for the ‘Reply’ link.
Note also that if it’s your first time commenting, nothing will show up immediately as I have to approve first-time comments before they are published (to stop spam…)
From the second time onwards, it should be immediate.
OK, what else?
A couple of club members wrote in on Monday to say that, sorry, they weren’t ‘dog people’ and could we please do one on cats?
Well certainly!
So that’s number two, out of ten.
As these are published, I’m putting them temporarily on a new page on the club website, called New!, which should make them easy to find if you want to come back and listen again..
Well, that’s it for today. I have a heavy cold and a lot to do.
Though I will just mention one of the things on my mammoth ‘to do’ list, which is preparing for our Easter Sale.
From next Thursday (March 29th) until midnight on the Sunday after Easter (April 8th), you’ll be able to use a 20% coupon code to save on everything in our new shop.
There’ll be more details about that next week but, hey, in the meantime, why not take a look at the catalogue and see what you can find that might turbocharge your progress with Italian?
There are free sample chapters for just about everything, so you can get an idea of the level and type of material on offer before drawing up your ‘wish list’ for the Easter Sale.
Oh, and if you’re not sure where to start?
Well, suppose you were in a ‘real’ bookshop, looking for something.
But there were too many shelves…
And you’d left your reading glasses in the car.
What would you do?
Ask the guy behind the counter, right?
“Excuse me, I’m looking for some simple materials to get me reading and listening in Italian, very low level, not quite beginner, but not far off it. Have you got anything like that?”
“Certainly, madam. Right over there. Come with me, I’ll show you.”
Just email me in the usual way, letting me know your level and preferences. I’ll be more than happy to suggest something suitable!
A venerdì, allora.

The Ideomatic expressions mi piacciono molto. È spesso dificile a trovare nei dizionari. Mills grazie

Thanks again, the activity covers everything, developing vocabulary, seeing the words in context, listening and pronunciation. I love the expressions and I plan to try to use them and impress my Italian friends. Such a simple activity but so useful . Appreciate the work gone into producing these and look forward to the next one
