Our latest Italian Conversation, number 37 of 60, is set in a tattoo parlor.
Well… I suppose that COULD come in handy if you visit Italy. After all, tatto parlors seem to be one sector of the local economy which has done well during the ‘crisi’.

loving all the shopping conversations. how about one on traffic/parking/speeding violations, my son had his hire car towed away, and i have just spent 10 mins grappling with a bonifico in italian for my husband speeding in 2014. buon anno nuovo a tutti voi

Hi Karen,
Sorry to hear about your son’s car, and your husband’s speeding fine. Between the two of them, they must cost you a fortune! Good job you don’t live where I am: according to my local paper, Bologna is the top city in our region for this, with over 15,000 tow aways this year!
Buon anno,
Daniel
