Buondì.
And a beautiful spring ‘dì’ it is too, here in Bologna.
Though it promises to be a busy one, as I have several meetings lined up, and am teaching in the evening.
So, to business!
First I have three more ‘old listenings with new exercises’ for you.
The level is A2 (pre-intermediate) which should make them accessible to most of you.
Each text has a different grammar focus.
Click the links to get started:
And of course, there are many, many other similar exercises at the club website.
Poi, news of a NEW Italian easy reader, only published this morning, so you definitely won’t have seen it!
This one’s about the famous Italian artist/sculptor Michelangelo.
It tells the story of the rather drawn out genesis of his famous statue of Moses (which you can see in the picture on the cover..)
Let me tell you straight off that the level of Michelangelo e il Mosè is B2/C1 (upper-intermediate/advanced).
Which makes it quite a challenge!
It’s read at a more or less normal pace, and contains vocabulary that was new to me, superstar that I am.
But do take a look at the free sample chapter.
Hard or not, it’s good reading/listening practice, no matter what your level.
And as always with new publications, for the first week only you can get Michelangelo e il Mosè at 25% off the usual easy reader ebook price.
That’s £5.99, instead of £7.99.
P.S.
If you’re into reading about famous figures from history, why not take a look at the others in our ‘Day in the life of’ series?
Un giorno con Raffaello | Galileo, Pisa e la luna | Colombo e il mare Oceano | Vivaldi e la chiesa della Salute
They’re all worth a look, but here at OnlineItalianClub.com HQ, our favorite is ‘Galileo‘….
A mercoledì.
