Il suono delle lettere C e G è /k/ quando sono seguite dalle vocali A, O e U. Quando sono seguite dalle vocali E e I hanno un suono dolce /tʃ/. Quando invece la C e la G sono seguite da H+E/I, hanno nuovamente un suono duro /k/.
The sound of letterc C and G is /k/ when they are followed by vowels A, O and U (as in english words cat, good, coast and gamble). When followed by vowels E and I, their sound is /tʃ/ (like in english words chess, cheese, giant, Jersey). When letters C and G are followed by H+I/E, their sound is /k/.
