That’s it. We sold all sixteen “special offer” Skype Italian lesson slots we had available, so the price has reverted to normal. You can still give them a try if you wish, but we’re not pushing them any more. But watch this space! We hope to run a similar promotion in September when all our teachers are back from the beach.
So, welcome to all new clients! There are lots of Americans and Australians, amongst you, but not only. We hope you find the lessons useful, build a great relationship with your teacher, and really, really, improve your Italian!
Which brings me to the point of this post.
Over the last few months OnlineItalianClub.com has launched a range of e-book/audio packages, one level at a time, then lately promoted online Italian lessons.
And now? Well, for the moment we don’t have anything new to promote, so I thought I’d open it up a bit and ask a few questions, such as:
- What should OnlineItalianClub.com be doing to help you learn Italian?
- What would you like to read about in articles like this one?
- What products or services might you be interested in? Dancinggirl suggests e-books that can be read on Apple products. Any other ideas?
- How could we encourage members to participate in the forums?
- Is there anything you DON’T like about OnlineItalianClub.com that we could fix or eliminate?
To make this site as useful to you as possible, your input is required here!
To contribute, please leave a comment and let me know what you’d like more (or less) of. It’ll be great to get some feedback on how we are doing!

Hi Daniel
Well done on your sales!
You ask for suggestions, if you have been reading the posts from Dianne, Pamela, Dot and now Jo I think more listening exercises would be good, possibly starting A1 A2 level in the free exercise section.I think a good place to find material might be the Italian School System. Teachers must read out some English text (with the appropriate intellectual level of content) and the pupils reply in Italian. All we need is the same process the other way round.
Who knows you may publish a “listening e-book” at some stage.
As far as the content of your articles is concerned, more of the same please, they are excellent, by the way we still do not know Hannah’s sister’s name

Thanks for your suggestions, John.
Certainly more listening materials seems like a good idea. That’ll be for the new school year when everyone’s back from their holidays.
We were thinking of “simplified books”, with an audio recording…. What do you think of that idea? You could read and listen at the same time, then read again slowly, and/or listen without the text..
My elder daughter is called Sofia. She’s really into Sherlock Holmes Dr.Who at the moment, which is great for her English!
