After a holiday weekend of rich food and wine, perhaps a nice simple plate of pasta would be nice?
Check out today’s free Italian listening comprehension exercise, which gives instructions on just how to prepare it!

P.S.
Occasionally I get emails like this one from Graham:
Having just recently signed up to your free online italian club to partake of the listening exercises that you have emailed to me over this Easter period I feel frustrated as I cannot figure out how to get the sound. In your email it tells me to click here which having done so I find an advert for Soundcloud below which there is a lot of Italian text which I assume is what I would be listening to if I could get the sound.Could you please help?
If you’ve ever called a customer helpline with a question, you’ll recognize Graham’s feeling of frustration. But never fear, the OnlineItalianClub.com technical help dept. is here to solve your problems!
So first things first – to do our listening exercises, first of all you need to be online.
Check? Check!
If you can see a Soundcloud ‘advert’ (that’s the name of the site where, for technical reasons, our listening tracks are stored), then that means you should be online.
The ad only usually appears when you have already listened to the track, or if you pause it. To get rid of the ad and back to the listening, look for the little grey X in the top, right-hand corner of the ad.
Click the X, the ad goes away, and the listening track returns. To listen, press the white arrow in the orange circle (top left…)
If you still don’t hear anything, time to check your speakers are turned on…
Graham, you still there? Go here to test all this with today’s listening task!
