Buondì.
Lots of people had opinions about Kindles and the like (the topic of Friday’s article), which was rather a surprise. So it took me a day or two to notice, then to approve people’s contributions.
Sorry! Anyway, now they’re all published and visible. Read what other club members think here.
Coincidentally, this week we have a half-price ‘eBook of the Week’ offer on three ebook titles which come in the default .pdf format, but also in .epub (all ebook readers more or less, now including Kindle), and .mobi (used to be the only option for Kindle groupies, and can still be used as long as you’re willing to load it manually.)
Anyone buying one or more of the titles gets an automatic email with a download link for the .pdf.
If you’d ALSO like the other formats, just ask. There’s a space on the order form – where it says Additional information, Order notes (optional). If you forget, or if you have problems downloading the .pdf, don’t worry! Email us at the address on the website and we’ll help.
There’s no additional cost (to you) for the other formats.
The details are below.
N.b. Replying to emailed articles from OnlineItalianClub.com, like this one, will reach me. But because there are a lot of club members (over fourteen thousand last time I looked), sometimes I get a bunch of emails all together, which I might therefore ignore until I get an idle moment, which could be days or even weeks later.
For customer service issues – help with ebooks, for instance – much better to write to the address on the ebook store’s website, which is easyreaders@nonparlo.com. Emails to that address are usually dealt with as soon as they’re seen, so within an hour or two, or first thing in the morning if they arrive during the night.
And yes, I know it’s tempting, if you really want to be SURE your email is seen and replied to, to write to ALL of the addresses you can find.
But please don’t…
A mercoledì!

Michelangelo e il Mosè (B2/C1)
Forty years from initial commissioning to completion, Michelangelo’s Moses “rests with one arm on the tables, and with the other holds his long glossy beard, the hairs, so difficult to render in sculpture, being so soft and downy that it seems as if the iron chisel must have become a brush.”
‘Michelangelo e il Mosè’ is an original Italian easy reader written for students at intermediate and advanced levels. Use it to improve your reading and listening skills, while getting a glimpse into the life of one of the most famous Italian painters and sculptors!

How do I access my ebooks?
When your order is ‘completed’ (normally immediately after your payment), a download link will be automatically emailed to you. It’s valid for 7 days and 3 download attempts so please save a copy of the .pdf ebook in a safe place. Other versions of the ebook, where available, cannot be downloaded but will be emailed to people who request them. There’s a space to do that on the order form – where it says Additional information, Order notes (optional). If you forget, or if you have problems downloading the .pdf, don’t worry! Email us at the address on the website and we’ll help. Also, why not check out our FAQ?
