Students of Italian from around the world are currently taking, or have taken, online lessons with the onlineitalianclub.com teaching team.
Around four times a year (in September, at New Year, at Easter, and NOW) we run a special offer so that regular students can renew at a discount.
Lucia manages our teachers.
MY job is to remind everyone to stock up on lesson credits, while the current offer lasts.
And to encourage those who haven’t yet taken the plunge to join our happy band!
So let’s talk about money.
A single thirty-minute online Italian lesson in our new shop costs £17.
But buy five lessons at once and the price per lesson falls to just £15.
Or do what most people do – get ten one-to-one Italian lessons (enough to keep you going until the next offer in September).
That would cost just £12.50 a lesson.
Good value, you’ll admit.
Bet you’d spend more than that on a haircut.
There’s the fifteen percent discount this week.
So the ten-lesson package, WITH the discount, would come to £106.25.
Ten pounds sixty five pence each.
For a half-hour with one of our friendly, experienced native-speaker Italian teachers.
In your half-hour lesson you could do conversation, grammar, or whatever you need.
Honestly, I’m scratching my head as to why you ALL don’t do it.
Can’t be the cost.
The Swedish lessons I was checking out a month or two ago (I did a trial but didn’t like the teacher…) cost about three times that.
Anyway, regular students should stock up on lesson credits by Sunday at midnight.
Or forever hold your peace (there’s always someone who writes on Monday or Tuesday, after the offer has ended!)
New students are, of course, very welcome.
If you’re unsure, take a single lesson to see how that goes.
Then buy more only if happy.

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that, besides the club, my wife and I run an Italian school in Bologna.
A few weeks ago, Madrelingua moved premises, after twelve years in the old place!
It was a lot of work.
Now I’m back from Texas, and have caught up with some of the things that had piled up, I’ve finally had time to post some pictures of the new school.
It’s very nice, though I say it myself and shouldn’t.
We were central before, but now we’re right in the center of the historic city.
Between the cathedral, and one of Bologna’s famous towers!
Our seven classrooms have ‘affreschi’ (painted decorations) on the ceilings.
Lke in the Sistine Chapel!
