Today is Day 4 of our Autumn Sale.
We’re going to do a walk-through (with pictures!) of how to use a coupon code to get a discount in our online shop.
Apologies to anyone who’s been having difficulty with this.
It CAN be confusing, I admit.
Hence today’s article.
As I mentioned, there are pictures. If your email provider doesn’t show them, click here to read this article on our website.
But don’t forget, you can always write to me if you need help.
I’m a real person and WILL reply to your email.
Anyway, to the walk-through.
Give it a try as we do this, so you can see how easy it is!
I’m going to use this week’s bestseller as an example.
Click here https://onlineitalianclub.com/product-category/skype-lessons/ and you should see this:
I’m going to click on the ten lesson option. But go ahead and try any of them.
Don’t worry, this won’t cost anything. Go ahead and click one. It’s just to see how it works.
OK, now we’re looking at details of the ’10 online lessons’ option.
If you scroll down a little way and click on the Reviews tab, you can read what other people thought of it before deciding.
Anyway, back up the page, find the ‘Add to cart’ button and click that.
Don’t worry that the full price of €150 is still showing. We’ll fix that in a minute.
Once you’ve clicked the button, you should now be looking at the contents of your shopping cart, which look like this:
If that doesn’t happen automatically, click on the ‘Cart’ button, second from the left in the main blac menu, which you can also see in the picture. It’ll take you right there.
OK, now we need the coupon code. The current one is:
Carefully copy and paste it.
To copy on a Windows PC, select the code with your mouse or touchpad, then use the ctrl & C keys together to copy it.
On an Apple computer it’s command instead of ctrl, I think.
On a phone or tablet, best ask a teenager.
Now click in the little box where it says ‘Coupon co..’ and press ctrl & v together to paste the code (command & v for a mac.)
Press the button marked ‘Apply coupon’. You’ll see a little message higher up the screen to tell you that it worked.
“But wait! The total doesn’t see to have changed.”
“It still says €150!!”
(Howls in frustration) “Where’s my discount??”
Yes, as I was saying, and finally, scroll down the page to view your ‘Cart total’.
You’ll see the undiscounted subtotal.
Then the coupon code discount (which you can remove if you wish).
And then the discounted total!
If all that seems OK, press the big purple button to ‘Proceed to checkout’ and via!
Remember, if you need help with any of this, just write to me and I’ll help if I can.
Include as many details as you can about what you’re trying to do do and what’s not working.
My email address is at the bottom of the page.
I won’t reply immediately if I’m teaching or sleeping, otherwise I’ll do my best.
