Isn’t it funny how being on holiday can mean being even busier than usual?
And there was me thinking I’d be able to get so much more done in this period…
Anyway, I have three things to tell you.
We’ll do them in reverse order, like the start of a race, or the countdown to a rocket launch!
3. Announcing: The 2016 ‘January Sale’!
As promised last week, today we have the start of one of our infrequent sales.
The last one was in September, and that was only for online Italian lessons.
This time we’re including everything: online lessons, e-books, our famous writing course, the whole shebang!
The timing, of course, is intended to coincide with this ‘quiet’ period after Christmas and over the New Year holiday
In theory, this is the moment when you’ll have more mental space to think about learning Italian, plus the time to begin developing positive study habits!
So, look out for full details about the ‘January Sale’ over the next few days.
But for anyone who’s already bored of holidays, or has their Christmas money burning a hole in their pocket (as my mother always said when I was a kid), here are the essentials:
- use coupon code januarysale2016
- and everything in your shopping cart will be discounted by 16%
- until the offer ends on Jan. 6th 2016
Why 16%?
Well in January 2015 we did 15% off everything.
So in the absence of me having any better ideas, this time it’s 16%.
Maybe in twelve months time we’ll try 17%, who knows?
So, one more time: the coupon code is januarysale2016 and it’s good for EVERYTHING IN OUR SHOP!
You can use the coupon code unlimited times. The offer ends on Jan. 6th.
More on that next time.
2. Your Reviews Urgently Needed
As part of the ‘January Sale’ mentioned above, I’m creating a ‘products organized by level‘ page, the idea being that whatever your level you’ll be able to easily find materials that are right for you, read customer reviews, download the free sample chapters and so on.
It’s not ready yet, but you can take a look if you want.
The only problem? For a lot of our e-books, we’ve got no reviews!
People buy our e-books and online lessons, but for some reason often don’t find the time to leave a review, whether positive or negative.
Obviously, it would be a great help to us, and to other OnlineItalianClub.com members, if those of you who learn Italian with our online lessons and e-books would take a minute or two to leave a score and a comment.
How? Where?
Just visit the new (not yet quite ready) ‘products by level‘ page and scroll down until you see the e-book, online lessons package, or whatever you purchased and now wish to review.
Click the ‘Reviews’ tab, and scroll down to the bottom of the page, where it says ‘Add A Review’.
Fill in the little code thingy with the letters you see in the box (to prove you’re human).
Then, where it says ‘Your Rating’, click on the number of stars you think are appropriate.
Finally, write a comment in the box below, where you see ‘Your Review’. This last part is optional, but it’s the most helpful information – what you liked or disliked and why – so we’d really appreciate your thoughts, even if it’s just a line or two.
Pressing the ‘Submit’ button sends your review to me to be moderated. All genuine reviews will be published, no matter whether positive or negative.
So please don’t hold back – your feedback will help us improve, and guide other club members in their purchases.
Go here to see the full list of products / lessons and to leave a review.
1. New Italian Conversation + Dialogue
And finally, we have today’s Italian Conversation – a free audio + transcript for you to listen to and read.
Click the link above, or view the whole series on our Italian Conversations homepage.
P.S.
Because of the ‘January Sale’ mentioned above, we’ll be publishing and e-mailing articles more frequently than usual this week and next (until Jan. 6th).
Exactly how often depends on sick kids, New Year celebrations, and so on. But likely it’ll not just be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
So, if your in-box is overwhelming you, don’t hesitate to unsubscribe.
You can do this by looking for the link at the top or bottom of every e-mail we send.
It should take just seconds to permanently remove your e-mail from our list. But if you have any problems, just reply to the email mentioning that you’d like to be unsubscribed.
I’ll then do it for you.
