Today I have Italian Conversation no. 29 for you. We’re in a butcher’s shop, or more likely at the butcher’s counter in a supermarket. Either way, it’s definitely not suitable for vegetarians.
If you’ve ever stood in a queue waiting for the person in front to finish asking what seems like an endless list of questions about what’s on offer, this dialogue should sound familiar.
Listen to it a couple of times BEFORE you check the transcript and see what you can pick out. Don’t worry if that’s ‘not much’, as it’s being read at a pace which is very similar to natural speech and is generally quite complex.

More of that on Monday.
So what else? Ah, yes – the last few days of our ‘Book of The Week’ offer. I’ll be brief about this, as I’ve also something else to mention.
