Today I have Italian Conversation no. 29 for you. We’re in a butcher’s shop, or more likely at the butcher’s counter in a supermarket. Either way, it’s definitely not suitable for vegetarians.
If you’ve ever stood in a queue waiting for the person in front to finish asking what seems like an endless list of questions about what’s on offer, this dialogue should sound familiar.
Listen to it a couple of times BEFORE you check the transcript and see what you can pick out. Don’t worry if that’s ‘not much’, as it’s being read at a pace which is very similar to natural speech and is generally quite complex.

More of that on Monday.
So what else? Ah, yes – the last few days of our ‘Book of The Week’ offer. I’ll be brief about this, as I’ve also something else to mention.
End of commercial break, or sort of.
What does ‘I want to learn Italian’ really mean?
… is the title of an article I published yesterday on the website of our Italian school.
It’s long, but I hope useful for anyone interested in learning Italian.
Why not take a look?
Have a good weekend!
