Buondì.
It’s Friday, so later in the afternoon I’m off to Rimini on Italy’s Adriatic coast.
We’ll be spending the weekend by the sea, in the company of Italians and crowds of tourists from all over the Europe!
Rimini also has migrants from many countries, including Africa and China.
Which brings me to today’s Italian listening comprehension task.
Meet Wang, otherwise known as Claudio.
(Chinese kids who go to Italian schools often choose a local name to be known by.)
You can read/listen to his story, for free, here:
P.S.
This week I’ve been busy listening to and then publishing simplified stories in French and Spanish.
For anyone interested, there are now two new easy readers in each language in our new online shop, at half price until next Thursday!
Look for the ones priced at £3.99 rather than the usual £7.99.
There are also a couple of free ones for each of those languages:
Of course, we also have masses of ebooks for learning Italian – around seventy of them.
One of those is free too, if you look carefully…
A lunedì/lundi/lunes!
