Buondì.
This is going to be a record-breakingly short article, as with all the Black Friday promotions going on, I don’t expect anyone to read it.
1. Have you listened to yesterday’s FREE Easy Italian News, yet?
If not, click here.
And don’t forget to add your email in the box in the sidebar on the Easy News site (it’s on the left) so as to receive future bulletins via email, each Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday.
2. Message from Lucia, our teaching manager
This part is only for those of you who booked a free trial lesson recently.
Lucia, our teaching manager, has got ants in her pants that only about a third of those who booked a free lesson have actually taken it so far.
I told her, chill babe, it’s Thanksgiving, and November. They’ll get around to it!
But what if you haven’t forgotten? Suppose you’re just too anxious to respond to Lucia’s pleas?
Then think, what’s the worst that can happen?
Skype doesn’t work… You freeze up and can’t say a word… The teacher is mean to you… In short, it’ll be embarassing… Humiliation! O.M.G.
Probably it’ll go OK, though.
Nothing unsurvivable will occur.
You might even ENJOY it.
There – consider yourself reminded.
3. Keep your credit cards locked safely in a drawer today
Black Friday or no, personally, I don’t plan to buy anything today, except beer and wine from our local supermarket.
And I’ll be paying cash.
My wife wanted to buy a new smartphone that she’d seen on Facebook or somewhere, which was going to be crashingly good value!!!
So I told her about an article I’d read (in Swedish), about how prices are put up in the period before an offer so that they can then be reduced dramatically, to tempt people to buy something they wouldn’t otherwise have purchased.
That’s our household budget safe for another few weeks, at least until Christmas…
But if you really must spend something, why not buy our half-price, £3.99 ebook?
I stress, this is NOT a Black Friday offer.
But that way, you could spend the rest of the day quietly studying and so easily ignore whatever other temptations invade your inbox and social media feeds.
You’re welcome!
Here are the details again:

Daniel;
I’m really glad I signed up for the Skype lesson opportunity.
I was hesitant at first (not having used Skype before) but the experience was great.
Already had the free lesson and the first in my series of 10 and have the rest of November and December scheduled with my very patient Italian teacher from Firenze.
.
If anybody is hesitating – don’t – it’s a great experience.
Although I’m going to keep up with my grammar lessons in San Diego at the school here, I plan to keeping using Online Italian Club for Skype lessons in the new year to make I don’t loose what I learn there and the two weeks I spent in Moltepulciano in September.
