Buondì.
Today we have a free Italian listening (with transcript) which focuses on the use of the third, and final, pronominal particle.
Monday we saw the particle ‘ci‘.
Wednesday you listened to examples of the use of ‘ne‘.
And so, if it’s Friday, it must be ‘si‘, which has got to be the easiest of the three.
Careful, though, to differentiate ‘si’ the pronominal particle, from ‘sì’, the answer to the question “Isn’t it time for a large glass of cold beer?”
The second has an accent on the ‘i’, like this: ì.
If your eyesight is as weak as mine, you’ll need reading glasses to spot the difference…
This page tells you how to type one, assuming you don’t have it on your keyboard.
Anyway, on to the listening.
Buon ascolto, buono studio!
A lunedì (also with an accent on the ‘i’…)
