Thanks to the many club members who wrote in following Friday’s article ‘Anyone else having technical problems with our exercises?‘
Several of you pointed out that there WAS an issue with question no. 5 in the first exercise linked to, an extra space before the right answer that would mean that an otherwise correct response is marked as wrong.
Thanks to your feedback, that’s now been corrected.
I’ll take this opportunity to remind everyone that feedback of this (indeed any) type is very welcome and appreciated.
If you find an error or errors in our material, copy and paste the URL of the page on our site into an email and send it off to me, along with a brief explanation of the type of problem and where I can find it.

Ciao Daniel
In this exercise https://onlineitalianclub.com/free_italian_exercises/uso_condizionale_b1.html no. 5 is always marked wrong. Maybe you’d take a look?
A presto,
Mario
That would be a great help!
In general, however, the consensus was that there is NOT a systematic problem with our exercises.
Lots of you suggested, though, that problems can be caused by tablets, smartphones or Macs automatically capitalising or correcting answers as you type them in.
My phone does this, and it drives me mad!
I know it’s just trying to help, but it ‘corrects’ Italian words into English, and so on.
There is, of course, a way to switch of this type of ‘assistance’, but if you’re anything like me you may not have the time or energy to work out how to do it.
So, just to be aware, then.
Or, as one member suggested, print out the exercise and do it with a pen. Then, when you’re done, back to the computer, press the ‘Soluzioni’ button and so check the answers!
Not very ecologically-friendly, but I guess that could work…
Anway, today we were due to start the Easter Sale, you’ll remember.
But over the last few days we’ve been suffering technical problems with our new online shop.
It’s nothing major, but meant that for a while I wasn’t getting notifications about new orders, which was a drag.
Hopefully that’s now sorted, but I’ve spent a lot of time on it since Wednesday and consequently haven’t had time to prepare for the sale.
Hence, the generous discount promised for today is now postponed until Wednesday or Friday this week. Watch this space for details!
And finally, I guess I’d better give you some homework, right? To keep you busy until the Easter Sale?
Here are two more listening exercises from the ‘old exercise with new tasks added’ pile.
The level is B1, so suitable for most of you.
If your level is lower than B1, use the transcript to help you earlier in the process.
Or if you’re stronger than intermediate-level, try not using the transcript at all.
Buono studio:
A mercoledì!
