Final A1 listening!

April 9, 2014 by Daniel

This is the last in our series of A1 (beginner/elementary) level Italian listening exercises.
We hope you’ve found them useful!

If you’re new to this website, and would like to do the others in the series, just scroll through the recent articles here (the first in the series was published on 21st March, you’ll find eight in total, including this one…)

OK, so on with the show! To do today’s listening, just click in the box below (or if you’re reading this in an e-mail, click here to visit our site and listen).

Don’t forget now: listen to the track at least once all the way through, even if you don’t understand much, before turning to the tapescript for support… You’ll find it at the bottom of this page.

P.S. Coming soon…

Over the next few days you’ll have the chance to join an online Italian conversation class.

The current groups end this week, so we’ll be opening them up to new students.

One hour a weeek of Italian conversation, in a small group, with one of our professional teachers. Five weeks, for just  €49.99. More details soon!

And right after that, we’ll be starting again with the listening exercises, hoping to build on what you’ve already done with A2 (pre-intermediate) material!

      Slowly. And. Clearly?

It’s probably the best approach for this level, and helps build confidence. But getting used to faster speech does you more good in the medium term…

Basically, if you’re understanding everything, or nearly everything, it’s probably too easy and you should push yourself more.

      A2 listenings start next week!
