Buondì.
Yes, I know, I promised I’d only be writing articles on Wednesdays in future.
But we have three promotions going on or starting soon. And there’s a NEWS FLASH, which I’m sure will be of interest to at least some club members – the small animal fans, judging by the number of emails I get on the topic.
It seems people are much more into cute, furry things than language learning. So then, we can put Italian grammar aside for a moment and talk about that, instead.
Bug’s back!
He’d only been gone a couple of weeks, which was just long enough for us to get bored of having actual free time each day, and sufficient for our sleep patterns to adjust from wartime levels of deprivation back to the more typical semi-insomnia of late middle age.
Yesterday was sunny and warmish, so I had the kitchen window open. And he flew right in!
Knew right where he was, too. Like a homing pigeon. Travel east or travel west, but coming home is always best! I guess we should have travelled further ourselves, before releasing him into the wild.
Anyway, he settled right down in someone’s arms (fortunately we have a house full of adult children right now) and snored gently, until it was time for a feed. Guess he must have used up a lot of mental energy.
So there. Pet care chores will now surely liven up what was looking to be a rather tedious couple of weeks of festivities, and I’ll have something to write about on Wednesdays again. For the next couple of months at least.
I won’t hang about, as my jeans are still damp with the pee that soaked my leg prior to this morning’s commute to the petting zoo. I will, however, just mention…
Our Italian school in Bologna is running it’s pre-Christmas ‘Save 20% on 2024 Italian Courses’ offer. I published this article this morning. It has links to things to read.
This week, too, the ebooks store is doing a promotion. There’s a ‘Save 33%’ coupon. The details are here.
And online students, don’t forget, starting on Wednesday next week (Dec. 27th) there’ll be the NativeSpeakerTeachers.com January Sale.
Which means a coupon code worth a 20% discount on online lessons with their team of Italian/French/Spanish/German teachers. Read more.
Buone feste a tutti!
P.S.
Did you read/listen to Thursday’s FREE bulletin of ‘easy’ Italian news?
Personally, I’m up to date. Which is amazing, considering how busy this week has been. Mailings, dishes, mailings, preparing meals, mailings, Bug.
EasyItalianNews.com subscribers get three, FREE bulletins (Italian text + audio) each week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. That can be a lot to keep up with, it’s true. Even for me, and I’m the media baron behind it.
But subscribing is FREE! And should you read/listen to a hundred and fifty free bulletins in Italian over the course of a year, your Italian couldn’t help but improve.,,
Just saying!
