Buondì.
Over the last couple of days I’ve been updating the club’s “Best of” OnlineItalianClub.com page with articles I wrote last year.
You’ll find it here, with 2025’s articles at the top, newest first. Scroll down the page to get to 2024, then 2023 and all the way back to the very beginning, which was in 2012.
I’ve written two thousand and eighteen articles for the club website since 2012, plus there are one thousand six hundred and ninety-five ‘pages’ (exercises, lessons and the like) and thirteen thousand three hundred and three ‘comments’, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-two of which I wrote myself, the rest being contributions from club members.
Click around a bit on the “Best of” OnlineItalianClub.com page and you’ll see the same themes coming up again and again: the importance of reading and listening to the language you’re learning, not worrying too much about making mistakes when you speak, how grammar rules and studying are over-rated compared to the alternatives, and so on.
I also often mention the importance of creating routines (reading, listening to, speaking the language you’re learning) and how such routines can help you even when motivation is low – as mine is right now.
And there have been updates on things that have been going on in my life, for instance holidays in Texas (2017) and the arrival of Roomie (2022) and Bug (2023).
Don’t care? Fine. Go do something more useful instead.

This week I made a determined effort reading EIN yesterday and todays article well I felt it was written especially for me’ No time or energy for learning foreign languages’’ I felt it had been written just for me.
