Two things for you today, which together amount to one hell of a lot of great stuff to help you with your Italian!
On Wednesday we’ll have some new exercises or listenings for you – the level will be B1 – intermediate.
But for now, a final plug for our new project, the beginners’ Italian course over at dontspeakitalian.com.
So, we’ve already looked at their helpful Italian grammar lessons.
Something else that you might well find of use are the 10 Italian dialogues, each set in a situation you might encounter when visiting Italy.
Tourist stuff really, not ‘proper’ language learning…
But that said, you get the audio, a transcript, and even a glossary of ‘difficult’ words.
And there are 10 of them.
And they’re free.
So that’s a good chunk of useful listening practice, at least.
The first dialogue is 101 Ristorante.
Once you’ve done that, just follow the link at the end of the page to get to the next one. It looks like this:
NEXT: 102 Ufficio informazioni
Or visit dontspeakitalian.com and look for the list of dialogues in the menu (on the right side of the page, at the bottom.)
P.S.
There’s big news today – our new easy Italian reader is ready, a whole week early!
It’s called ‘Il grande pesce rosso‘ and features Michele, who’s in his last year of primary school and is desperate to gain the respect of his friends and class mates… Bet you remember that feeling.
As usual we have a free sample chapter, which also contains links to the audio of the WHOLE STORY. That’s free, as in FREE. To get your sample chapter, right click on this link and choose ‘save as’.
Once you’ve read chapter 1, and maybe listened to the rest of the story, you might find it helpful to have the text, glossaries, exercises and solutions.
In which case, visit our online shop and pop a copy of ‘Il grande pesce rosso‘ in your shopping cart at the special launch price of just €7.50 (normal price, from next week, €9.99.)
And while you’re at it, take a look at our other easy Italian readers… reading and listening regularly is just the thing to turbo charge your Italian!
