Two gapfills (and possible downtime at the clubhouse)

December 14, 2016 by Daniel

Buondì.

Today onlineitalianclub.com is moving house, and I’m sure you know what kind of chaos can result from that!

While I think of our clubhouse as being a building, with an address and a layout, of course it isn’t.

Despite having been laboriously hand-built by our team, brick by brick, beam by beam, tile by tile, in fact it’s just a bunch of files on a server in Texas.

And the people in charge of that server have decided to move us to a new, better neighborhood.

So be aware – that’ll be happening today from 12 p.m. CT onwards. I presume CT is the timezone they use in Texas?

We’re assured that the move will go smoothly, but here in Bologna it’ll be the evening and I’ll be busy teaching Christmas carols to a bunch of Italian pre-schoolers.

So, if anything does go wrong, there’s a small risk of some downtime until I can get to a computer and start hassling the removals guys.

But let’s look on the bright side.

Once the move is complete, we’ll be having the decorators in!

A new look, for the New Year. How exciting is that?

Anyway, to today.

Here are a couple of gapfill exercises to keep you busy until the clock strikes 12 p.m. CT and everything grinds to a halt.

Alex’s Day – Gapfill
Describing Objects – Gapfill

Buono studio.

A venerdì (fingers crossed!)
