Buongiorno a tutti!
I’m in a terrible rush today, as I spent yesterday evening and this morning (before leaving for work) formatting the first ten pages in our new series of free material for learning Italian.
As we’ve done lots of grammar in recent months, it’s time to focus on listening comprehension again.
So we’ve written and recorded a series of sixty conversations, which take place in different places and deal with different topics.
The idea is you get to listen to the conversation a few times. Repeat it as often as you wish – the more the better!
Then, when you’ve understood as much as you possibly can, there’s a transcript so you can check your understanding of the conversation.
This material should be good for students at any level, from beginner to advanced.
For the former, it’ll be about picking out the main information. For those who already know Italian well, it’s a chance to focus on the details and nuances.
Listen to the first in our Italian Conversations series.
Book of the Day!
Today’s ‘Book of the Day’ e-book offer is ‘La Montagna‘ by Enrico Maso.
It’s one of my favorites, so do take a look.
As always, there’s a free sample chapter to download (.pdf), which also gives you access to the audio for the whole story.
And if you like the sample chapter and audio, today and tomorrow only, you can get the e-book (eight chapters with audio, exercises and glossaries) for half price.
That’s just €4.99, instead of the usual €9.99.
The offer ends tomorrow.
