Anyone else having this problem?

Talking about listening, last week Harold wrote to me with a problem:

Your advice is to listen to these recordings several times.  But how can you do this without closing down the whole thing and starting again?  The “Play” button disappears when it has played once.
It didn’t take long to answer, as this is an issue that has come up before, and so is covered in our FAQ. I just had to ‘copy and paste’ the relevant paragraph, as I’ll do here:

Help! I can’t figure out how to play your audio recordings multiple times.

Our free Italian listening materials are hosted on Soundcloud.com so as not to overload our server. When you load any of the pages from our ‘Listenings Index‘, you’ll see a typical page for our site, part of which is a ‘plug-in’ which downloads the audio from Soundcloud.com and includes the ‘Play’ and ‘Pause’ buttons. So far, so good, right? The problem comes when your track finishes. The plug-in screen goes grey and you see a message ‘Explore more tracks like this on Soundcloud.com…’, when what you really want to see is the ‘Play’ command, so you can hear the track again. Look for the little X in the top right-hand corner of the plug-in. Click on that, and the grey Soundcloud.com ad will disappear. You’ll then be back where you were before and will see the ‘Play’ command you need to hear the track again as many times as you wish.
