A ‘bundle’, in marketing parlance, is when a seller puts together various products, in this case ebooks for learning Italian, and prices them at a discount.
It’s like when you go to the store and buy two tubes of toothpaste rather than the one that you had scrawled on your shopping list, so as to take advantage of the ‘special price’!
While you spend more initially, you know you’ll certainly use up that second tube of Colgate in time, so the end result is that you’ve saved money (and the company has increased its revenues…)
And ‘lo’, you’ll find ‘bundles’ of ebooks in our new online shop, too!
There are six levels of ‘Three for the price of two’ easy readers (you get three original simplified texts, glossaries, exercises and free online audios.
What I’ve suggested in the past, which people have responded well to, is that you get the level below where you currently are (three ‘easy’ ebooks to begin with), your current level (to do next, when you feel confident enough) and the level up (to aim for, once your reading/listening skills are up to it).
Follow these links to find out more about the ‘Three For Two’ bundles of ‘easy readers’ at various levels (and yes, the Autumn/Fall Sale coupon code IS valid on these):
- Italian Easy Readers ‘Three For Two’ – Level A1
- Italian Easy Readers ‘Three For Two’ – Level A1/2
- Italian Easy Readers ‘Three For Two’ – Level A2
- Italian Easy Readers ‘Three For Two’ – Level A2/B1
- Italian Easy Readers ‘Three For Two’ – Level B1
- Italian Easy Readers ‘Three For Two’ – Level B1/2
N.B. These bundles, being relatively recent, are only available in our ‘new’ online store.
Also note that if you already own of the titles in a bundle but want to buy the others anyway, send me an email saying which title you would like as a substitute for the ebook you studied already, and I will gladly replace the duplicate.
So, that was ‘bundles’.
But of course, we marketeers can never be satisfied with selling just two tubes of toothpaste!
So a ‘bundle of bundles’ was irresistable, and comes at an amazing price:
Eighteen Italian Easy Readers – HALF PRICE!
‘Three for two’ times six is…? Eighteen for twelve!
Except it isn’t – it’s ‘Eighteen for the price of nine’ – you get the additional saving for buying the whole bunch together.
Click this link for the full list of titles included.
This ‘bundle of bundles’ gets you a gradual progression of reading/listening materials, from easiest to hard, which should be fuel for a significant boost to your Italian.
The logic is this: do just one ‘easy reader’ a week for four or five months, ‘turning up’ the level of complexity in gradual steps as you progress, and you should see a measurable improvement in your reading and listening skills, as well as in your knowledge of Italian grammar and vocabulary.
Speaking as a teacher/learner, rather than as a marketeer, if I could find something similar for learning Swedish, I’d buy it in an instant!
Anyway, you’ll recall that it’s ‘Autumn/Fall Sale’ week and so there’s the 20% discount code?
Well…
IT ALSO APPLIES TO THE ‘BUNDLES’.
So not only would you get ‘three-for-two’ or ‘eighteen at half price’, but with the coupon code (below) you could save an additional 20%.
Now THAT’s an incentive to get reading/listening in Italian!
Enough for today.
Monday’s article had full details of the sale.
Check it out if you are unsure about how to use the coupon code, or about the details of the offer.
