Here’s a summary of Italian conjunctions, presented in four categories according to their function.

Conjuctions of ‘addition’:

e, o, anche, oppure, infatti, per esempio, similmente, né, d’altra parte

Conjunctions of ‘contrast’:

ma, però, eppure, anzi, invece, tuttavia, piuttosto, al contrario, in realtà

Conjunctions of ‘time’:

poi, dopo che, in breve, in conclusione, alla fine, successivamente, allo stesso tempo, contemporaneamente, innanzi tutto

Conjunctions of ‘reason’:

così, quindi, allora, per questo motivo, perciò, pertanto, dunque
