Buondì.
Here’s the final article from Italy, for a while at least.
As mentioned the other day, from Wednesday I’ll be in Texas, USA taking a road trip with my eldest daughter, whose birthday present this is.
I assume there’ll be WiFi, so things should proceed more or less as normal, apart from observations about the enormous steaks I hope to be eating.
But as that part of the States is seven hours behind Central European time, expect my missives to arrive later in your day, or the next day if you’re based in Australia, New Zealand, or some other location on the far side of the globe from Dallas, Austin, Houston etc.
Anyway, here’s another listening (with transcript and new task) to be getting on with in the meantime.
It features Luca and his ‘ragazza’, Marina (always liked that name…)
They seem to be quite different, which begs the question, do opposites attract?
For example, I like buge slabs of meat, while my daughter / travelling companion is a vegetarian.
Wish us luck!
And once you’ve done that, click the link below to keep building your Italian listening comprehension skills (and find out whether Luca and Marina are compatible enough to have a chance…)
P.S.
No ‘Book of the Week’ offer this week, as I’m hoping to keep the amount of time I need to be online to a minimum during our holiday.
Things should be back to normal from the second week of July.
That said, it should still be possible to send out ebooks within the twenty-four hours promised in our online shop.
So, if you’re needing something to study, do go browse ebooks for learning Italian.
A mercoledì mattina, Texas time!
