Buondì.
Let it be known that next week, so from April 4th to April 10th 2022, our two online shops, EasyReaders.org (for ebooks) and NativeSpeakerTeachers.com (for one-to-one lessons), will be having their Spring Sale.
Hurrah!
That means that I’ll be publicising a coupon code which, if you apply it in your shopping cart in either/both online shops, will save you 20% on your cart total!
Hurrah again!
Which means you could, for instance, buy five ebooks but pay for just four of them (assuming they were the same price), or save a fifth on the price of one-to-one Italian lessons with a native speaker teacher.
Di nuovo, hurrah!
We do promotions like this four times a year, in the spring, the first week of July, at the end of September, and at New Year. It’s not a secret, and if you forget the dates, just write and ask.
The discount is always 20%, so anyone who plans WHEN to buy materials for learning Italian, or the credits they need to continue taking regular online lessons throughout the year, need never pay the full price!
Pretty good, huh?
To make things even easier for our regular online students, our teaching management team sends out the coupon code a few days BEFORE the promotion begins.
That way we’ll know which teachers have capacity to take on new students, see? Plus, it helps ease the workload during sale week.
If you’re a regular online student, watch out for an email from the teaching management team tomorrow, Thursday.
What about those of you who are only here for the free stuff (which is fine), or who are no longer interested?
Two options:
1.) Any ‘bulk’ email, so this one, will have an ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom. Clicking that will permanently remove your email address from the mailing list. No tricks – unsubscribe and you’re gone, ciao ciao! No longer interested? Prefer not to hear about next week’s promotion? Go ahead and use the ‘unsubscribe’ link (scroll right down to the end of this to find it.) No really! You’d be doing us a favour, as well as reducing the number of unwanted emails you receive – that’s because having a large list costs us a hefty monthly fee, money which is wasted if we’re not a good match for each other!
2.) Less drastically, just stop reading emails from the club until the sale ends, after which things will go back to normal, so the usual combination of wit and wisdom about language learning, and me trying to sell ebooks.
Così!
A venerdì, allora.
P.S.
Don’t forget this week’s new B2-level ebook Colpa della terra, Libro 2, La traversata, will you?
It’s the second in a series of five, the first being: Colpa della terra, Libro 1, Colpa della terra
The title of this new one, ‘La traversata’, means ‘The Crossing’.
Each tale in this five-part series is narrated by a different member of the family, and the story arc as a whole runs from the end of the nineteenth century to WWII.
Libri 3 and 4 will be released as soon as I get around to it, and I think the final one is scheduled for the summer.
But back to Libro 2, which opens in the chaos of Naple’s port in 1895, moments before the sailing of a ship crammed with emigrants from some of Italy’s most desperate villages. The narrator is Giuliano, the family’s disabled eldest child.
