where are the modern art galleries in roma


how is it possible to have a discussion on this site??

Way too late I know, but the two main ones are the Maxxi and the MACRO

The Maxxi is fairly easy to get to: just take the tram that goes from the Piazza del Popolo along the Via Flaminio. The MACRO is a bit more complicated IIRC it's on the number 17 tram route – but remember there are two branches of the MACRO the other is in the Testaccio district.
